UNCRC

"Throughout the school, pupils demonstrate a strong sense of fair play. By the end of KS2, through learning about the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child, most pupils develop a strong awareness of their own rights and how their own wellbeing and that of others might be supported." The UNCRC is the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child, a legally binding treaty that outlines the human rights of all children under 18. As a Rights Respecting School, we put the principles of the UNCRC at the heart of our culture, planning, policies, and practice. This means that we teach and model these rights, encouraging children to be confident and to use their voices.
