Areas of Learning and Experience (AoLEs)

At our school, learning is organised into six Areas of Learning and Experience (AoLEs) as part of the Curriculum for Wales. These areas help children make connections across subjects and develop skills for life.

• Expressive Arts – Inspiring creativity through music, drama, and art.
• Health and Well-being – Promoting physical, emotional, and spiritual growth.
• Humanities – Exploring history, geography, and religion to understand God’s world and our place in it.
• Languages, Literacy and Communication – Building strong communication skills in English, Welsh, and beyond.
• Mathematics and Numeracy – Developing problem-solving and logical thinking.
• Science and Technology – Encouraging curiosity and innovation about how things work.

Through these AoLEs, we nurture confident, caring learners who live out Christian values and are ready for the future.
